During the recent Arabic Media Forum held by the Hon Natalie Ward MLC, Minister for Sport and Multiculturalism with some Arab media organizations through the Zoom app, Minister Ward spoke about her respect and appreciation for the ethnic media for their efforts during the recent outbreak of the Corona pandemic in the state of New South Wales.
Minister Ward added that the Arab media played an important and pioneering role in conveying the instructions of the Ministry of Health and contributing to the implementation of the laws in force during the closure period to limit the spread of the Corona virus in the affected areas.
“the Arabic Media was and still the bridge between the Arab community and the government” Minister Ward said.
On the other hand, representatives of the Arabic Media outlets thanked Minister Ward for giving the Arab media the opportunity to convey the Arab community’s point of view on everything that happened during the closure period and dealing with this pandemic to the government to work together to remove all obstacles that may hinder the government in eliminating the spread of the Corona virus, especially what It is about encouraging everyone to receive the vaccine and to help ending the closure.
