Member for Werriwa, Ms Anne Stanley MP, is encouraging local teachers, parents, and students to
have their say on the future of school education through a new national survey released this week.
The survey is being released as part of the Expert Panel Review into the next National School
Reform Agreement.
Survey participants can have their say on a range of issues including:
• Improving education outcomes;
• Supporting student mental health and wellbeing; and
• Attracting and retaining teachers.
The Expert Panel, led by Dr Lisa O’Brien AM, will report to Education Ministers at the end of
October on the practical reforms that should be tied to funding in the next National School Reform
Agreement.
The survey will be open until Friday, 23 June 2023 and can be found at:

Quotes attributable to the Member for Werriwa, Ms Anne Stanley MP:
“It’s important to listen to the views and experiences of teachers, parents, and students from
Werriwa to build a better and fairer education system.
“In addition to the survey, the Government will be consulting widely with stakeholders to help inform
the development of recommendations for the report.”
