Mr Hagarty said he was proud of the 1,454 students from Leppington who have worked hard and persevered through a challenging year.

The HSC written exams will run from October 11 to November 5, with more than 70,000 students across NSW sitting for various subjects. The results will be released on December 15.

Member for Leppington, Nathan Hagarty said:

“A big congratulations to every student on reaching this significant milestone. I remember experiencing the mix of adrenaline and nerves when I was in your position and it is completely normal to feel some pressure.”

“Remember that this is just one step on the path through life and that success is not measured by just grades, but by pursuing knowledge and cherishing the friendships you’ve made along the way.”

“I wish you all the best of luck in your exams, be confident, and I can’t wait to see what you will all achieve into the future.”
