A fantastic event titled “Spreading the Culture of Peace” organised by HWPL& IWPG in the City of Parramatta. This festival was held in Parramatta, where communities from all over Sydney who have experienced war in their homeland, those communities who support peace and peace advocates came together and united in support of each other and for peace.
Philosopher Lao Tzu said “If there is to be peace in the world, there must be peace in the nation. If there is to be peace in the nations, there must be peace in the cities. If there is to be peace in the cities, there must be peace between neighbours. If there is to be peace between neighbours, there must be peace in the home. If there is to be peace in the home, there must be peace in the heart.” Let the dream of a future free of hate and violence begins from being peaceful within.
