A male nurse has been charged by NSW police after allegedly sexually assaulting three women at hospitals in Sydney’s northwest over a period of three years.
Since September last year, Strike Force Rymer has been investigating reports a 25-year-old female patient was sexually assaulted while recovering from heart surgery at a Bella Vista hospital.
This led to a 42-year-old man being arrested on March 11 and charged with sexual intercourse without consent, with that case remaining before the courts.
Since then, reports have emerged of two more women being sexually assaulted.
A 67-year-old woman was allegedly sexually touched while awaiting heart surgery at a Kingswood hospital last month, while a 21-year-old female nursing student was also allegedly sexually touched while working at the same hospital back in December 2018.
The 42-year-old man was arrested again by police on Friday following further investigations.
He has been charged with two counts of aggravated – sexually touch another person, and aggravated – incite another to sexually touch them, and sexually touch another person without consent.
The man was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Friday.
