Australian Arab Business Council elects a new Board

At a well-attended Annual General Meetingon 8 February 2023,Members of the Australian Arab Business Council (AABC) elected a new Board led by Mr Radwan Hamdan as the new President.

On assuming his position as President, Mr Hamdan praised the Outgoing Board, headed by MS Genan Issa as President and Mr George Bousamra as Vice President, for their tremendous leadership during challenging times under COVID. “They kept the momentum and camaraderie going despite the COVID difficulties. Their contributions to the new Board will be invaluable”, said Mr Hamdan.

I am very humbled by the opportunity and confidence granted to me by AABC members tolead this great organisation once again, he added.“I am encouraged by the diversity of experience at the professional, social and personal levels as well the richness of skills and talents represented by the new Board”.

The AGM was followed by a comprehensive presentation by guest speaker, Mr Nass Aoun ofFlexi-Africa, an online shopping platform for Africa. Flexi Africa’s guiding principles are uniting cultures and creating harmony through a state-of-the art e-commerce platform, the likes of which the African continent has not experienced.

Mr Aoun is a young entrepreneur who runs and operates Flexi Africa and is involved in several organisations that combine the countries within Africa and link them with the rest of the World.
