The ATO data, which was released today, is based on the tax returns from the 2023-24 financial year.
The top 10 occupations have remained the same over the years, but incomes have gone up for most professions and some jobs have switched places in the list.
Here is the full list of roles and how much their incomes have changed since the previous year.

How much does the average Aussie earn?
The ATO data also revealed the average Aussie income was $78,127 a year, which was up from the previous year’s average of $74,240.
The median income was lower at $58,739 a year, but also up from the previous year’s median of $55,868.
Superannuation balances have also increased, with the average balance at $182,781, up from $172,834 the year prior. The median balance was $63,339, up from $60,037.
The ABS releases more up-to-date data on average weekly earnings for full-time adult workers. Its latest data showed average earnings were $2,051.10 in November, or $106,657.20 a year.
