On Monday, 14th Nov 2022, the Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane MLC hosted a appreciation reception in the honour of famous Arab Journalist Mr. Akram El Moughawich who is serving Multicultural communities in Sydney since 40 years. The event was held at the Coronation Hall, Arncliffe Sydney and attended by Australian Parliamentarians, councilors, community leaders and media representative.
The ceremony was presented by Mr Ali Hammoud, and introduced Hon Shaoquett Moslemane to say a speech then introduced Dr Ali Achy to say few wards, then Dr Mamdouh Sukkarieh, Dr Jamil Douwehi. The speeches focused on the contribution of Journalist Akram Elmougawish to Australian-Arab media.
