On 13 March 2026, Ministers Tony Burke MP, Jason Clare MP, Sophie Cotsis MP and Jihad Dib MP hosted their annual Community Iftar, a meaningful gathering that celebrated unity, faith and generosity during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event brought together a diverse group of guests including parliamentarians, local councillors, religious leaders, media representatives and members of the wider community. Guests shared the Iftar meal in an atmosphere of warmth and reflection, highlighting the spirit of togetherness that Ramadan inspires.
